I studied Geography at UCLA and am particularly interested in globalization and urbanization. I am interested in how cities develop, be it aesthetically, culturally, or economically. My favorite subject to shoot is architecture, and I am particularly interested in how its ideas and styles spread from place to place. Since my camera is often pointed towards the sky, blue has naturally become a dominant color in my compositions.

Danny Clark - In March of this year my friend Chris and I embarked on a 20-day cross country Amtrak journey. We spent just over a hundred hours in coach class seats and made our way through mountains, mudslides, and snowstorms to travel from Los Angeles, California to Portland, Maine. We were greeted in Portland by the city’s first warm, blue sky, and sunny day of the year.

Believe it or not, I shot this on an old roll of Kodak ultramax that had followed me for years. I was moving to Hawaii and I bought a pack of ultramax. One of the rolls wasn’t shot and it made its way to shelves, suitcases, survived the pandemic, and eventually in my sock drawer in Los Angeles. I was curious if anything could be shot with it. I think the results speak for themselves

I was walking around Aalborg harbor during blur hour and saw this man sitting near the water. I wonder what was on his mind that evening.
