In honor of deeply missing my family back on the east coast, here is a shot of them on the cape during summer 2021. This photo was taken on my late grandfathers Nikon F2 film camera which makes it all the more meaningful. It is currently my laptop background because it makes me so happy to look at. An old decommissioned train track located in Perris, CA. Off the bat, it feels like an entrance to a secret beyond human comprehension. Lonely, forgotten, ancient, mysterious, eerie... I was getting major Legend of Zelda vibes. I'll admit I was tempted to follow the tracks, just to see what was awaiting on the other end.
